Direct Ferries brings Hibernia Line’s new Ireland–France connection to its global ferry network

Direct Ferries Connect, the B2B ferry distribution platform from Direct Ferries, is pleased to announce the addition of Hibernia Line, Ireland’s newest ferry operator, to its growing network of ferry partners.

Hibernia Lines

Based in Cork, Hibernia Line operates a direct year-round ferry service between Ringaskiddy, Cork and Boulogne-sur-Mer in northern France, providing a new connection between Ireland and mainland Europe. The service operates six sailings per week in each direction, offering both passenger and vehicle travel.

“We are delighted to welcome Hibernia Line to Direct Ferries. Their new direct connection between Ireland and France adds an important route to our network and gives our distribution partners another convenient way to offer travel between Ireland and mainland Europe.” Said Ido Schiferli, Head of Partnerships at Direct Ferries.

The Hibernia Line service is designed around convenient overnight crossings, with passengers able to travel in cabins and arrive ready to continue their journey. Onboard facilities include comfortable cabins, dining and refreshment areas, lounges, Wi-Fi, accessible facilities and pet-friendly travel options.

For travellers, the route also provides a direct alternative to travelling via the UK, with Boulogne-sur-Mer offering onward road connections into France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and beyond.

Through its integration with Direct Ferries Connect, travel partners will be able to access Hibernia Line’s routes and schedules, making it easier to offer customers ferry travel between Ireland and France as part of their booking experience.

The addition of Hibernia Line further strengthens Direct Ferries Connect’s international ferry portfolio and supports its mission to give travel partners access to a growing range of ferry routes and operators around the world.
