Direct Ferries Connect API Powers New Global Partnership with Omio

London, December 8, 2025 – Direct Ferries, the world’s leading ferry booking service, today announced a new global partnership with Omio, the leading global travel booking platform for multimodal transport. Through this collaboration, Direct Ferries will integrate a significant portion of its extensive network—over 2,000 routes and 150 carriers—into the Omio platform via the Direct Ferries Connect API, making ferry travel more accessible to customers worldwide.

The integration will expand ferry options for Omio customers in key regions such as Northern Europe (including Sweden, Norway, Finland, the UK, and Ireland) and enhance multimodal travel opportunities in Southeast Asia, where Omio already offers flights and buses. It will also open entirely new regions—such as the Americas, Australasia and the Caribbean—to Omio’s global customer base.

We are thrilled to partner with Direct Ferries, instantly elevating our ferry booking options across multiple regions. This collaboration represents a major leap towards our vision of seamless global multimodal travel, empowering travellers with greater choice, convenience, and flexibility than ever before.
